We flipped a house!

Willow was a very special project for us - partially because it was our first project but also because this house proves that with well-made homes and ongoing maintenance, they can withstand the test of time.
We took on this home in a very healthy state; it was obvious that it had been loved and cared for over the last 105+ years, but like all of us, it needed to evolve to adapt to the current times. We followed design trends that are here to stay to build a lasting foundation in the overall design: an open floor plan, white cabinetry, subway tile, hearty colored wood flooring, and elements of black and white. We took a fresh and modern approach in the details to add just enough quirk to keep it interesting: we painted the interior doors a jaw-dropping blue which makes the clean white walls look a little less stark, brought in matte black and brass hardware throughout, and included functional features like USB power outlets on both sides of the kitchen island. All of these detailed features can easily be updated in a future refresh without breaking the budget or requiring an outside contractor.
We believe this approach will help this house maintain its appeal and function for the next 105 years!
